Hayward^® full body flanged PVC swing check valves

flanged PVC swing check valves available in 3" to 8" sizes.

 

 

Swing check valves are used to control the flow path (prevent back flow) in smooth flowing systems typical of gravity fed or centrifugal pump based piiping systems.  Our swing check valves are only designed for liquids because they are made of PVC, CPVC or Polypropylene with either EPDM or FPM seals.  As compared to wafer style swing check valves, the full body version has much higher Cv (flow coefficient) values and thus suitable for higher flow rate conditions.  Anohter feature not applicable to wafer swing check valves is compatibility with a limit switch for position indication.

 

Full body swing check valves can be installed in both vertical and horizontal sections of pipeline and if needed, supplied with either PVC or polypropylene counterweights.  There are integrally molded drain ports on each half of the body to simplify maintenance.
