Catalog pages for Rotary Diaphragm ¼ Turn Valve Actuators
Rotary diaphragm actuators are often used for lower air pressure
applications or when actuation by other inert gases or non-compressible
fluids such as water and oil is preferred. Constructed with a ductile
iron or carbon steel cast housing, a UV resistant polyester powder coat is
applied to protect the actuator in most environments. Rotary diaphragm
actuators can be operated at extreme temperatures, as low as -40ºF and
as high as 392ºF. The rolling Buna-N diaphragm style used has a special layered design
including polyamine fabric to maximize longevity. The low friction UMW
polyethylene bearing provides very smooth actuation. Double travel
stops enable fully opened or closed adjustment.
