Sodium Hypochlorite Ball Valve Specifications
Sodium
hypochlorite (NaOCl) is used for water disinfection, surface
sterilization and odor control applications. Standard ball
valves become damaged due to off-gassing (NaOCl decays in
storage tanks and piping) resulting in a salt solution and
oxygen bubbles. The salt crystals wear against the ball valve
stem seals which eventually enables leakage.
