Resilient Seated Butterfly Valves

BF series butterfly valves with either wafer body or lugged body are available from 2" to 48" sizes with EPDM or Buna-n seals.  the wafer body is made of cast iron and the lugged body is made of ductile iron, thus these are typically used for water service and non-aggressive industrial liquids containing few particles.  The resilient seat design (also referred to sometimes as concentric or zero-offset) has either Buna-n or EPDM deformable seat with o-ring stem seal.  The integral ISO 5211 actuator pad can be used to easily install an electric or pneumatic actuator.

 

The applicable design standards include ASME B16.10, B16.42  and MSS-SP25/67 with testing standards API 598 and API 609.
