Kompact control valve specifications

 

The Kompact series is a 1 piece, full port ball valve for flow control applications where valve size and weight needs to be minimized.  Offered in ½" to 6" sizes with 150# flanged connections in both carbon steel and 316SS, the V-groove ball design enable precise, repeatable flow control. and has a straight through flow geometry, which results in more efficient, linear, flow stream; the wafer-like body width is very close to the diameter of the internal ball.

 

The unique low-torque design will enable use of smaller, less expensive actuators, thus this style control valve is popular with OEM's.  These are also very compatible with asphalt and other applications which benefit from a pocket-less cavity filled design.  The applicable design standards for Kopact ball valves include ASME B16.34 and NACE MR-0175; they are tested in accordance with API 598 with factory registrations of CE per PED97/23/EC and ISO 9001.
